Provides skilled occupational therapy service on an intermittent basis to clients in their homes in accordance with the physician’s orders. Evaluates the clients home situation to determine what instruction will be required and what family assistance will be available in caring for the client. Guides and instructs the client in prescribed therapeutic self-care and creative activities that are directed toward improving independence as well as physical and mental function.
- Must be a graduate of an Occupational Therapy school approved by the council of Medical Education of the AMA in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Must be licensed/registered by the State of Michigan
- Minimum of one (1) year institutional experience
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years home care experience and a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience
